**Sorts.** Point, line, flap, and bundle (a set of crease segments), the
value sorts of the model's section on values; each a value computed in the
current state and carried in paper coordinates, so it survives later folds.
A point is named with `.`, a line or a crease with `--`
([[reference/beloch-names#names]]): the corners of the sheet are points, and
so is every meet and every free point; a construction yields a line, and a
write yields a crease. Every value is exact, whatever construction made it
(`SPECIFICATION.md` §6).

**Writes.** The operations of the model's section on operations, named by
the verbs `mark`, `fold`, `unfold`, `reverse`, `flatten` and `flip`. Each is a

## 2. The paper *(since v0.0)*

Moved to `BELOCH.md`, "Sheets" (ADR 0046).

## 3. Values *(since v0.0)*

Two kinds of value, distinguished by sigil:

- **Point** — `.name`. The four corners, plus any point derived by a
construction (`BELOCH-OPERANDS.md`), or *(since v0.25-dev)* a **free point on a line**
(§4.3a) — a 1-DOF reference point whose position is not load-bearing, but
whose value is an ordinary exact point like any other (§6).
- **Crease / line** — `--name`. The geometric value of a fold: an (infinite)
line. On output it appears as the edges of the folded state's faces (§7);
`mark`/`fold` (§4.6) act on the paper with it.

All geometry is exact (§6).
