Shopify rebuilt the admin nav with hashed CSS-module classes, killing every
Polaris-Navigation__*selector the collapse toggle relied on, and React hydration was removing the injected toggle. Selectors now use stable prefixes/data attributes, classes are copied off the live nav, and a persistent observer re-inserts the toggle after re-renders. Verified end-to-end in the dev extension.
