UM Extended upgrade still not fixed with "beta16"

When upgrading to the latest UM Extended - 2.1.0-beta.16 UM is crashing with an error message and this stack trace:

If deactivating the older version of UM Extended the old activated plugins are not removed from WP control and are causing a conflict with the new Extended update.
