We're getting close to being able to stimulate our mice so we need to go ahead and make sure that the control of Zapit via Bonsai using a TCP/IP link workflow. I've enabled TCP/IP on the system settings for Zapit so this should hopefully work.

I remember that the example itself was quite complicated in setting things up from what I discussed with @NeuroThom but it would be nice to implement checks of what 'condition' is being stimulated (i.e.: which brain region) and being able to save this information alongside info such as during which behavioural trial did we stimulate. If there is a simpler and/or cleaner way to set this up, this would be great. I wouldn't be able to test it until 18th Sept at the earliest, and get back to you with any possible issues. I'm still on the fence as to whether to integrate into the main behavioural workflow or if to separate it out and insert accordingly but happy to go with whatever seems best.
Could you please take a look and create a workflow for us to be able to integrate optogenetic control of Zapit within Bonsai using the TCP/IP link? I could also take a look at doing this myself beforehand if you need anything from me, but I definitely need considerable help to organise it in a way that doesn't break anything.
In the end, it would be nice to run through a dummy opto experiment to make sure that everything runs and saves correctly. Please let me know if there are any other questions!
