Yes, your approach is technically what we should do. But this PR proposal is still valid, we haven't tested it in armv7a and I believe no one else will either. |

Didn't we fix thermald on armv7a? I"ve been onsite last week so I might have lost a track of it. Let me check it. |
Yes, we have armv7a fixed now with your patch qualcomm-linux/meta-qcom@faad3ec but what is the value of installing it? As far as I know, nobody uses that in armv7a. |
I'd say, we don't use a lot of tools on armv7a. However building them for armv7a ensures that they are buildable and useable. |
