pageView now sends only the referrer's origin, so search terms in a referrer's path or query no longer reach PAS.

document.referrer referrer before referrer after
https://www.google.com/search?q=some+movie full URL https://www.google.com
https://app.put.io/search?phrase=some%20movie full URL https://app.put.io
android-app://com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/… full URL android-app://com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
  • path and utm_* are unchanged; the page's own query string was already dropped.
  • Merging publishes a patch release; put.io's web app and website need a version bump to pick it up.
  • Retry-queue entries saved before the upgrade still replay with their original referrer once.

A referrer's path and query can carry search terms, such as a search
engine's ?q= or put.io's own /search?phrase=, so page_viewed now keeps
only the referrer's origin.
