Problem

Renovate commits production bumps as fix: and the rest as chore:, not deps:, so semantic-release repositories release on every automerged bump.

Solution

config:recommended sets types through package rules that override top-level semanticCommitType. Extending :semanticCommitTypeAll(deps) after it wins; the github-actions → ci rule still applies last.

Proof

Effective type from resolveConfigPresets + applyPackageRules (Renovate 44.140.0); dropping the new extend restores fix / chore:

Update Before After
npm dependencies fix deps
npm devDependencies chore deps
github-actions ci ci

Same change as uinaf/.github, which this preset copies.
