RTI Connext DDS 7.7.0 currently fails to talk to toc_coredx_dds_6.1.0-sec_linux because https://community.rti.com/static/documentation/connext-dds/current/doc/manuals/connext_dds_secure/release_notes/whats_new/740/whats_new_740.html#authentication-class-id-now-conforms-to-the-value-in-the-dds-security-1-2-specification changed the class ID to 1.2, and CoreDX 6.1.0 doesn't accept 1.2. CoreDX 6.14 adds

  • support for secure TypeLookup
  • acceptance of the v1.2 class IDs.

This release adds a command-line parameter that disables the security features. This allows testing the scenarios where some applications are not using DDS Security. Depending on the permission and governance some of these scenarios should result in interoperability and others not.
