As seen in overview.vi the state data enumeration for the state machine execution is not a type definition which, although for a simple example, can lead to downstream cascade failures as individuals may build from and grow the example, let alone our own long term maintenance of the example. This may be present in other examples in the repo, I didn't scan holistically.
