Dedicated "now playing" window displaying artwork and track title in continuous listening mode

songRec does an amazing job recognizing songs. I use it to detect songs played on multiple audio sources via a condenser mic and audio interface: turntable, CD player, mini pc, a digital tuner etc. I've been recently looking for an open source application that can do the following:

• retrieve track info: artist, album,track title, year
• find album artwork
• display the artwork and info in a dedicated resizable window with full screen possibility
• window is closed by default and can be opened with a button
• nice to have: cool/smooth transition between tracks
