Can select data out of canvas bounds with the rect selection tool

Description

The rectangular selection tool allows you to select data that is outside the image you're editing.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Open any image with this software
2. With the select tool, start selecting from anywhere inside the image
3. End selected area outside the image (go as far as possible to get "better" results)

To see the data you selected that is not from the image, drag the selection around...
