Update DataSHIELD

When you want to update DataSHIELD an update of the client package and the server package is needed. The client package needs to be updated on the central analysis server. The server package needs to be updated on each Opal instance in the network.

Client DataSHIELD package

Is updated by the UMCG on the request of the network. The actual update is performed by the UMCG on the analysis server.

Server DataSHIELD package

The server package is updated on the request of the network as well. But the actual update needs to be performed by every Opal administrator separately. Datamanagers who are Opal administrator as well can do the upgrade on the central analysis server.
