I am a software engineer and architect with 18+ years of building production systems. For the last year I have built them with AI at the centre of the process, with one belief running through all of it: technology only matters when it solves a real business need.
Today I co-lead the digital transformation of a Norwegian print group, designing and building the custom platform the company runs its business on. Agentic development is a standard part of the software development process there, not a side experiment: AI agents take part in the whole delivery lifecycle, and it shows in the pace and quality of what ships.
I am a kind of bridge between business and technology, though I have never seen them as two separate camps. That comes from a mix I have been building for years: strong communication, product engineering and deep technical knowledge. In practice it means I am as comfortable working through priorities with stakeholders as I am deep in the code, and I build digital products by starting from the core need of the customer.
- Agentic development with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and Cursor, speeding up delivery by up to five times depending on the type of task
- Reusable AI skills that automate the path from requirements to release: planning, implementation, code review, pull requests and reporting
- AI-assisted UI and UX design with Pencil MCP, Material UI MCP and design skills
- MCP integrations for data analysis and observability
- All of it on a foundation of Domain-Driven Design, modular architecture and solid automated tests
- Backend: Java · Spring Boot · Python
- Frontend: React · TypeScript
- Data & cloud: PostgreSQL · AWS · Docker
- AI tooling: Claude Code · GitHub Copilot · Cursor · Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Foundations: Domain-Driven Design · Modular architecture · CI/CD · Test automation
In the AI era the specific stack matters less than it used to. I move into whatever technology the problem calls for.
If you are building a product with a long-term vision and want AI to be a serious part of how it gets built, we should talk. I am open to AI-first roles (engineer, architect, technical lead) and to consulting on agentic development and AI adoption.
