CHANGELOG.md has no Unreleased accumulator, so the release notes from #1529 go into a 0.8.0 section ahead of the version bump. Release prep keeps the section when it bumps the version. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
