Welcome to the Threadbare Haberdashery Handbook

Threadbare is an open-source, story-driven RPG set in a world made entirely of fabric, that is slowly, irreversibly unravelling. Players don't just explore this world...they reweave it. By uncovering stories and recovering the lost history, culture, and language of Threadbare, players become the saviours of a world coming apart at the seams. But the Threadbare project is so much more than this. Players are invited to craft stories of their own, contributing characters, creatures, sounds, music, game mechanics, narrative, and dialogue directly into the game itself, for everyone else to discover, play, and build upon. Consumer to creator. Player to producer. Threadbare is both a video game and a learning tool for game development.

This wiki is the definitive guide to everything Threadbare: the game world, how to play it, and how to contribute to it.
