Machine-readable log output

It would be great if aptly-rest-tools could produce log output in some machine-readable format, e.g. JSON or Logfmt.

This is specific to the various cli's right. Generally the tooling should use tracing for logging; So it's a case of allowing the cli tools to select a more machine readable output format

I think tracing is used already, so it’s just a matter of being able to tell it what format to use.
