Part of blacklanternsecurity/bbot-enterprise#157.

  • AGENTS.md: what the repo is, toolchain, setup, test commands, an index of the org standards with when to read each, and only facts specific to this repo. Versions are referenced in the manifest, not retyped.
  • CLAUDE.md points at AGENTS.md.

Validation

$ git diff --stat upstream/dev
  AGENTS.md | 42 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
  CLAUDE.md |  1 +
  2 files changed, 43 insertions(+)
$ uv sync && uv run maturin develop
Installed cloudcheck-11.2.0
$ cargo test
test result: ok. 2 passed; 0 failed
$ uv run pytest test_cloudcheck.py -v
16 passed in 12.91s

Standards links point at blacklanternsecurity/.github/blob/main/standards. They resolve once the standards land in .github and it is made public (admin step).

Org-wide standards now live once in blacklanternsecurity/.github. This
AGENTS.md states what the repo is, its toolchain and test commands,
links each standard with when to read it, and keeps only what is true
here and nowhere else. CLAUDE.md points at it instead of duplicating
it, so agent context stops paying for restated rules.

The toolchain table retyped the Rust edition and a Python range that
does not match requires-python, and called ruff pinned while
pyproject.toml declares a floor. Point at Cargo.toml and pyproject.toml,
and state that the Rust toolchain is not yet pinned.

Dead links again. All 9 links in the Standards section go to 404 pages (AGENTS.md, lines 29–40). The blacklanternsecurity/.github repo exists, but it has no standards/ directory on main. It isn't on the repo's other two branches (aconite33, reusable-cla-workflow) either.
