Where the information came from. Everything here is assembled from material a member of the public can reach with a browser and no credentials — the company's own website, developer portal and documentation, the specifications it publishes for public use (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, JSON Schema,
apis.json,llms.txtand similar), its public repositories, and its public status, pricing and changelog pages. Nothing here is obtained by breaching a system, defeating an access control, or using credentials of any kind.The rating is an independent assessment. The Kin Score and Agent Readiness rating are independently calculated scores of a company's public API artifacts, produced by API Evangelist against a published rubric. They are not certifications, endorsements, security assessments, or audits, and they score published artifacts — not the quality, safety, or security of the software.

Full detail: Where this data comes from
Weedmaps is a cannabis discovery and ordering marketplace connecting consumers with dispensaries, delivery services, and brands. For its business customers it publishes a partner integration API suite documented at developer.weedmaps.com: a Menu API for keeping a retailer's product menu, pricing, and availability in sync with their point-of-sale; a Brand Catalog API for mapping and enriching menu items against the Weedmaps brand and product catalog; a Taxonomy API for categories, cannabinoids, strains, terpenes, and discovery tags; and an Orders API for receiving and updating online orders directly in a partner POS.
Access model (important): The developer documentation is fully public, but production access is partner-gated. Integrators apply by email; on approval they receive OAuth2 client-credentials and a test listing, and a Listing Owner must select the partner as their POS provider before production access is granted. The onboarding documentation notes that new integrations are not currently being onboarded. Because a live partner account could not be exercised, the endpoints below are documented but modeled from the public reference — the brand and orders paths are confirmed from the reference pages, while the exact menu-item CRUD/upsert paths are inferred from the documented endpoint categories.

OAuth2 ClientCredentials flow. Retrieve an access token from the /auth/token endpoint (limited to 1 request/minute) and send it as a Bearer token on all partner requests. Access must be granted by a Listing Owner.
