After a successful turn, generate the prompt the user is likely to send next and publish it to AIR as session_info_update._meta.promptSuggestions, the same contract claude-agent-acp uses. AIR shows it as gray text in the empty composer.

  • Codex has no native prediction, so it is generated like the session title: ephemeral thread, title model, from the last user prompt and the final agent message.
  • Cleared on the next prompt; stale predictions (newer prompt, session close or reload) are dropped.
  • One extra model call per turn; CODEX_ACP_PROMPT_SUGGESTIONS=false turns it off.
