docs(examples/vue): add 'star-wars', 'rick-morty' and 'vue-router' examples - #12439
Adds three Vue routing examples ported from the React examples, and registers them in the Vue examples section of docs/config.json.
star-wars and rick-morty use Vue Router. Detail routes pass the id with props: true, and queries read it through a getter (useQuery(() => ...detail(props.id))), so they follow param changes when the route component is reused.
vue-router is the port of react-router (label "Vue Router", package @tanstack/query-example-vue-router):
The QueryClient lives in src/queryClient.ts and is passed to VueQueryPlugin, so the router can use it.
A global router.beforeResolve awaits the contacts list and the contact detail with staleTime: 'static' before navigating, in place of the React Router loaders. Errors are ignored there and shown by the components.
Actions are replaced with useMutation. Favorite returns the invalidation from onSuccess, and its optimistic value comes from the mutation's variables. Create, edit and delete invalidate without awaiting and then navigate.
Search debounces with useDebounceFn from @vueuse/core and updates ?q= with router.push.
The list and detail queries use retryOnMount: false, and the detail RouterView is keyed by route.path, so a query that failed in the router guard shows the error page without retrying on mount.
The app mounts on #root so the React example's CSS applies unchanged.

The pull request adds three Vue examples: Rick and Morty, Star Wars, and Vue Router contacts. The first two fetch and display related records through Vue Query. The contacts example provides routed contact management backed by LocalForage. The Vue examples list now links to all three.

Merge Risk: Low · up to dc8a1
This adds three Vue example apps and their docs links. The Vue Router contacts demo has two small, demo-only data races: the first load can show an empty list on a fresh store, and a double submit can lose a change. They are worth fixing but do not block merging a documentation example.

# About this CHANGELOG
This file will include all API breakage, new features, and upgrade info in localForage's lifetime.
### 1.10.0
* Avoid uncaught error in `dropInstance`. You can now catch errors thrown by `dropInstance`, see #807.
### 1.9.0
* Fixed TypeScript definition for `getItem`. It now notes that `getItem` can return `null`, so this change may cause TypeScript code that didn't account for `null` values to fail. See #980.
### 1.8.1
* Reverted the ESM/`module` field change in #940, which broke many builds. See: #979. Sorry about that! 😓
### 1.8.0
* No changes to code, but added a `module` field in `package.json` for better ESM support. See: #940.
### 1.7.4
* Use `openKeyCursor` instead of `openCursor` for `key()` retrieval. Props to @MeMark2 for the fix, and thanks to @lincolnthree and @f for additional testing!
### 1.7.3
### 1.1
* Custom drivers can be created using `defineDriver()`. (#282; fixes #267)
### 1.0.3
* `config()` accepts a new option: `driver`, so users can set the driver during config rather than using `setDriver()`. (#273; fixes #168)
### 1.0
* It is no longer necessary to queue commands using `ready()` when using RequireJS. (723cc94e06)
* `setDriver` now accepts an array of drivers to be used, in order of preference, instead of simply a string. The string option is still supported. (eg. now one can use `setDriver(['WebSQL', 'localStorage'])` instead of `setDriver('WebSQL')`)
* node-style, error-first argument method signatures are used for callbacks. Promises don't use error-first method signatures; instead they supply an error to the promise's `reject()` function.
### 0.9
This release drops support for some legacy browsers, though not actually the ones you might think. localForage's new policy is to support the current version of all major browsers plus up to three versions back.

# localForage
Offline storage, improved.
// Set a value with localStorage:
localStorage.setItem('key', JSON.stringify('value'));
doSomethingElse();
// The same code with localForage:
localforage.setItem('key', 'value').then(doSomethingElse);
// localForage also support callbacks:
localforage.setItem('key', 'value', doSomethingElse);
localForage is a JavaScript library that improves the offline experience of your web app by using an asynchronous data store with a simple, `localStorage`-like API. It allows developers to store many types of data instead of just strings.
localForage includes a localStorage-backed fallback store for browsers with no IndexedDB or WebSQL support. Asynchronous storage is available in the current versions of all major browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Safari (including Safari Mobile).
localForage offers a callback API as well as support for the ES6 Promises API, so you can use whichever you prefer.
# Installation
# Install via npm:
npm install localforage
# Or, with yarn:
yarn add localforage
<script src="localforage.js"></script>
<script>console.log('localforage is: ', localforage);</script>
To use localForage, download the latest release or install with npm (`npm install localforage`) or yarn (`yarn add localforage`).
Then simply include the JS file and start using localForage: `<script src="localforage.js"></script>`. You don't need to run any init method or wait for any `onready` events.
# Data API
These APIs deal with getting and setting data in the offline store.
## getItem
localforage.getItem('somekey').then(function(value) {
// This code runs once the value has been loaded
// from the offline store.
console.log(value);
}).catch(function(err) {
// This code runs if there were any errors
console.log(err);
});
// Callback version:
localforage.getItem('somekey', function(err, value) {
// Run this code once the value has been
// loaded from the offline store.
console.log(value);
});
// Or, use `async`/`await`:
try {
const value = await localforage.getItem('somekey');
// This code runs once the value has been loaded
// from the offline store.
console.log(value);
} catch (err) {
// This code runs if there were any errors.
console.log(err);
}
`getItem(key, successCallback)`
Gets an item from the storage library and supplies the result to a callback. If the key does not exist, `getItem()` will return `null`.
Even if `undefined` is saved, `null` will be returned by `getItem()`. This is due to a [limitation in localStorage](#42), and for compatibility reasons localForage cannot store the value `undefined`.
## setItem
localforage.setItem('somekey', 'some value').then(function (value) {
// Do other things once the value has been saved.
// This code runs if there were any errors
console.log(err);
});
}
});
`setItem(key, value, successCallback)`
Saves data to an offline store. You can store the following types of JavaScript objects:
* `Array`
* `ArrayBuffer`
* `Blob`
* `Float32Array`
* `Float64Array`
* `Int8Array`
* `Int16Array`
* `Int32Array`
* `Number`
* `Object`
* `Uint8Array`
* `Uint8ClampedArray`
* `Uint16Array`
* `Uint32Array`
* `String`
When using localStorage and WebSQL backends, binary data will be serialized before being saved (and retrieved). This serialization will incur a size increase when binary data is saved.
## removeItem
localforage.removeItem('somekey').then(function() {
// Run this code once the key has been removed.
console.log('Key is cleared!');
}).catch(function(err) {
// This code runs if there were any errors
console.log(err);
});
`removeItem(key, successCallback)`
Removes the value of a key from the offline store.

# Driver API
You can write your own, custom driver for localForage since version 1.1.
## defineDriver
// Implement the driver here.
var myCustomDriver = {
_driver: 'customDriverUniqueName',
_initStorage: function(options) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
clear: function(callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
getItem: function(key, callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
iterate: function(iteratorCallback, successCallback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
key: function(n, callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
keys: function(callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
length: function(callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
removeItem: function(key, callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
},
setItem: function(key, value, callback) {
// Custom implementation here...
}
}
// Add the driver to localForage.
localforage.defineDriver(myCustomDriver);
You'll want to make sure you accept a `callback` argument and that you pass the same arguments to callbacks as the default drivers do. You'll also want to resolve or reject promises. Check any of the default drivers for an idea of how to implement your own, custom driver.
The custom implementation may contain a `_support` property that is either boolean (`true`/`false`) or returns a `Promise` that resolves to a boolean value. If `_support` is omitted, then `true` is the default value. You can use this to make sure the browser in use supports your custom driver.
These drivers are available to every instance of localForage on the page, regardless of which instance you use to add the implementation.
## driver
localforage.driver();
// "asyncStorage"
`driver()`
Returns the name of the driver being used, `null` during the asynchronous driver initialization process (see `ready` for more details), or `null` if the asynchronous driver initialization process failed to find a usable driver.
In case that a driver fails during or right after the initialization process, then localForage will try to use the next in order driver. That is with respect to the default driver order while loading localForage or to the order the drivers were passed to `setDriver()`.
## ready
localforage.ready().then(function() {
// This code runs once localforage
// has fully initialized the selected driver.
console.log(localforage.driver()); // LocalStorage
}).catch(function (e) {
console.log(e); // `No available storage method found.`
// One of the cases that `ready()` rejects,
// is when no usable storage driver is found
});
Even though localForage queues up all of its data API method calls, `ready()` provides a way to determine whether the asynchronous driver initialization process has finished. That's useful in cases like when we want to know which driver localForage has settled down using.
## supports
localforage.supports(localforage.INDEXEDDB);
// true
`supports(driverName)`
Returns (boolean) whether `driverName` is supported by the browser.
See `setDriver` for default driver names.

Finish seeding before the first contact read.
LocalForage only waits for driver initialization. It does not serialize the later getItem() and setItem() calls as one dependency chain. If getContacts() reads while the seed read is still pending, it can return an empty list and cache that result for the initial route.
Keep an initialization promise, await set(initialData), and await that promise before API reads and writes.

ContactForm.vue keeps Save enabled while a mutation is pending, and Contact.vue keeps Delete enabled while deletion is pending. A double submit can start overlapping mutations. Each contact mutation reads and replaces the complete LocalForage array, so concurrent writes can lose an update.
Serialize contact mutations or use an atomic storage operation. The React react-router example uses the same pattern. This is a minor example-only data-integrity issue backed by fake network delays, not a major issue.

🎯 Changes
Adds three Vue routing examples ported from the React examples, and registers them in the Vue examples section of
docs/config.json.star-warsandrick-mortyuse Vue Router. Detail routes pass the id withprops: true, and queries read it through a getter (useQuery(() => ...detail(props.id))), so they follow param changes when the route component is reused.vue-routeris the port ofreact-router(label "Vue Router", package@tanstack/query-example-vue-router):QueryClientlives insrc/queryClient.tsand is passed toVueQueryPlugin, so the router can use it.router.beforeResolveawaits the contacts list and the contact detail withstaleTime: 'static'before navigating, in place of the React Router loaders. Errors are ignored there and shown by the components.useMutation. Favorite returns the invalidation fromonSuccess, and its optimistic value comes from the mutation'svariables. Create, edit and delete invalidate without awaiting and then navigate.useDebounceFnfrom@vueuse/coreand updates?q=withrouter.push.retryOnMount: false, and the detailRouterViewis keyed byroute.path, so a query that failed in the router guard shows the error page without retrying on mount.#rootso the React example's CSS applies unchanged.✅ Checklist
