Scrolling broken on Safari 15.4

It seems that in Safari 15.4, the css rule:

contain: paint;

And thus

contain: strict;

breaks scrolling.

No scrollbar is displayed, and no scrolling is possible.

Not sure if this is a bug in Safari or in lit-virtualizer... Probably the first, but wanted to report here anyway.

It looks to me like this issue only occurs when virtualizer is rendering directly into document.body. Is that consistent with what you've seen?

Do you know if there's a WebKit issue tracking this problem?

No, I was using it a few shadow roots deep

No, I'll recheck if this issue is still there in the latest version and search or create an issue in WebKit.
