🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Document or reject the absolute-path fallback in source_origin.

When relative_path returns None — the asset and cache_root share no first component, for example a different Windows volume — unwrap_or(path) writes the absolute canonical build path into assets.json. The PR objective states that packaged artifacts must be relocatable and must not depend on the source checkout. This fallback embeds the build machine's checkout path in the provenance file.

Record the failure explicitly instead of silently leaking the path, for example by emitting a marker value, or by failing with the same remediation style used in asset_modules.rs. At minimum, state the fallback in the doc comment.

only still-valid issues, skip the rest with a brief reason, keep changes
minimal, and validate.

Update source_origin so a failed relative_path conversion never serializes the
absolute canonical path; explicitly reject the failure using the existing
asset_modules.rs remediation style or emit a documented marker value, and add a
doc comment describing the chosen fallback behavior.
