Rainbow Tensor 1.8.0 completes the planned teaching and portability work. It organizes notebook controllers while preserving imports, explains shape predictions and labelled calculation paths, publishes a versioned capability contract, adds broadcast comparisons and conditional selection, and teaches minimum and maximum operations through their candidate values and selected positions. Bounded lesson recordings can now be exported as standalone HTML with keyboard navigation and no live kernel.
The walkthroughs now distinguish structural candidates from evaluated winners. A chosen source is outlined directly, and large result sets keep the actual evaluated source visible while preserving trace limits. The README and guide include beginner-focused examples and a prompt that helps an LLM generate clear Rainbow Tensor visualizations for NumPy lessons.
