The best open-source tower climbing game in existence (probably)
Jomolith is one of the many projects designed with the intention of moving obbying, as a genre, away from its reliance on a closed source, always-online platform.
This is an open source recreation of the Roblox player controller, including a (soon to be) editor and way to import and play towers locally, fully offline.
In the future, online support will be added to share your towers, compare stats, and potentially even multiplayer.
Jomolith does not, and will never claim to be a competitor to Roblox as a whole. There are many, many more-competent ventures in this regard. Jomolith is merely a game designed to preserve obbying, and empower the obby community.
Jomolith is not a game meant to exclude any individual. The game is open source, and licensed under GPLv3 to ensure it stays that way. It will always be playable fully offline, and effort will be made to ensure it supports technology as low end as possible, and all playstyles seen in existing games, including controller and mobile.
Jomolith is certainly not a full time job of mine. I may take breaks from developing this game, but pull-requests will always be welcome and I will be sure to take time out of my day to review them, if any occur.
Jomolith isn't yet ready to be played. It's in the middle of development, at the moment, and there's not much to see. The best way to play this at the moment is to sit patiently and wait for the first release on my site, which will be set up when I am confident in where the game is at.
Please Bully Me, Miss Villainess! Chapter 87
Until I come up with a logo for my game, but be warned the Yuri will live on culturally
