KSA Quick ID Inspector

Identify pedestrian and vehicle models in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas without leaving the game.

KSA Quick ID Inspector is a lightweight CLEO script for players, mod testers, and creators who need model information while they work. Aim at a pedestrian or enter a vehicle and the relevant details appear in a compact overlay.

Requirements

• Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.0 US
• CLEO 4.4 or newer
• Mod Loader is recommended for a cleaner installation

Installation

Mod Loader

1. Open your GTA San Andreas installation folder.
2. Copy the KSA Quick ID Inspector folder into modloader.
3. Start the game.

Direct CLEO installation

1. Copy KSA_Quick_ID_Inspector.cs into the game's CLEO folder.
2. Start the game.

Using the inspector

• Type KSAID during gameplay to enable or disable the overlay.
• Aim at a pedestrian to view their model ID and health.
• Enter a vehicle to view its name, model ID, and health.

The overlay only appears when there is useful information to show.

Compatibility

The current release was tested on Windows 11 with SilentPatch and Widescreen Fix. Other CLEO-based setups may also work, but they have not been verified yet.

Building from source

The editable source is available in src/KSA_Quick_ID_Inspector.txt.

1. Open the file in Sanny Builder 4.2 or newer.
2. Select the GTA San Andreas v1.0 SBL.
3. Compile the script.
4. Copy the generated .cs file into the game's CLEO folder or a Mod Loader package.
