[Bug]: conversations list mismatch between ZSH and REPL

Bug Description

When I start a conversation and it does not have a title yet (in :conversation the title would be [empty])
then that conversation does not appear when running /conversation but does appear when running :conversation

Steps to Reproduce

1: start "forge"
2: start a small conversation by entering a small request
3: run /conversation

Expected Behavior

I expect the current conversation to be visible in the selection

Actual Behavior

the current conversation cannot be seen in the list of conversations so far
