Bug
After updating macOS to 26.5 beta (build 25F5053d), QLMarkdown has started showing a serious rendering bug in Quick Look.
For multi-page .md files, only the upper part of the document is rendered. The remaining content area turns completely white instead of continuing to render the rest of the file.
Environment
- QLMarkdown
- macOS 26.5 beta (
25F5053d)
- Finder Quick Look preview for Markdown files
Reproduction
- Use QLMarkdown as the Quick Look extension for Markdown files.
- Open a long / multi-page
.md file in Finder.
- Press
Space (or otherwise open Quick Look).
- Scroll down in the preview.
Expected
The entire Markdown document should render normally in Quick Look, including all later pages/sections.
Actual
Only part of the document is rendered.
After a certain point, the rest of the preview becomes a blank white area.
Notes
- This started only after updating to macOS 26.5 beta (
25F5053d).
- The problem is reproducible with multi-page Markdown files.
