Motivation
Please give strong enough reason(s) why the feature is demanded.
- Viewing citation information upon hovering over a citation with the mouse or cursor would make keeping track of which citations are where much more convenient.
Feature Description
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen under what circumstance.
- When typing a citation command (\cite{cited_paper_2025}), detailed Intellisense information showing the authors and title of the page is automatically shown, which is quite helpful when citing from large bibliographies with many papers. However, once the citation is typed, that information cannot be easily viewed again without e.g., partially retyping the citation command.
- It would be quite useful to be able to view the same Intellisense information (which again, is already made available when writing a paper citation command) upon hovering the mouse or cursor over a citation.
