File is damaged

I am getting an error when I try to load the plugin in Logic. Am I doing something wrong?

These steps got the latest release (C700_mac_20211031) working for me on Catalina and Big Sur:

1. Copy the AU and/or VST to the system where they belong as usual
   • C700.component to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
   • C700.vst to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
2. Repeat for each plugin file:
   • right-click the plugin file in Finder and select Open With
   • choose an application like Logic Pro, Garage Band, Reaper, PatchWork, etc. - It shouldn't matter what app, as long as you try to open them. The apps won't know what to do with the file but that's ok.
   • you will now be able to select an Open button in the window that says the file cannot be scanned
   • quit any DAW software and relaunch it, the plugins should work fine from now on

You may need to repeat these steps 2 or 3 times before it works.
