Packages, mldonkey & streamlit

Hello, I'm new around.

I just bought a Loongson 3A6000 motherboard and I managed to install LoongArch on it with https://mirrors.wsyu.edu.cn/loongarch/archlinux/iso/2024.04.29/archlinux-livecd-loong64.iso . Latest version won't work so well.
It works quite well right now the computer, fast and soft.

I have some errors when trying to install streamlit with pip or pipx
And mldonkey app won't compile.
Is this the place to ask for help?

I can paste screenshots are anything you need, like testing or debugging apps.

I'm the AUR maintainer of mldonkey, mldonkey-git and the ocaml4 pkgbuilds

I don't have any Loongson hardware but you can grab the pkgbuilds and add loong64 to arch=() in the pkgbuilds and try to build them

It does not work, it fails just installing ocaml4: (I tried first installing mldonkey-git, but it needs ocaml4 and more:

cd ocaml4/
vim PKGBUILD (I changed arch() to loong64.
makepkg --source
makepkg -s

That's expected because they are AUR pkgbuilds

Ocaml4 error:

The pkgbuild have --enable-frame-pointers in the ./configure line, change to --disable-frame-pointers and see how it goes, I don't know if this is needed by mldonkey or other packages though

I tried with --disable-frame-pointers in PKGBUILD with no luck, this error looks worse:

You can try to report upstream but don't seem there was interest 10/15 years ago

• Cannot build native compiler on mips64el-linux-gnu ocaml/ocaml#4849
• Linux MIPS(EL) build error ocaml/ocaml#4359

These are the only issues found searching for loongson there https://github.com/ocaml/ocaml/issues?q=is%3Aissue+loongson

Hi, I managed to compile and run mldonkey with ocalm 5 in loong64 architecture following this steps:

sysinfo command makes mlnet.exe to segfault, but it search and download well.
