Expected Behavior

this is normal startup consumption and this is mesen , its more drastic in heavy games

below is when you change the process priority to anything, normal or above normal

in other 3d games, my gpu watts is max 60 and obs startup pushes 55 to 60 watts even if that game consumes like 20 watts. nothing recording, recording hasnt even started
simple screen also

also google says maybe i use a second monitor with a laptop, thats why, yet the option is obs fixed it. other windows settings are important like hags and what not. so i request a fix from obs side

i meant to say , lets i have a game open which is consuming 14w on cpu and 4w on gpu at start menu, then i just open obs like the above last screenshot , no complex docks or anything, now the gpu is like 40 to 50w and only after i go to change process priority to anything in adavnced settings. the obs-induced gpu spike goes down to 4 or 5w, which should have been the normal from the start.

the expected behaviour is obs should not affect my gpu or cpu when i just start it up, when recording it takes like 10 to 15w from gpu, only 5 to 10w for hevc 60 fps. the obs beheves correctly, yet everytime when iot launches i have to keep chaning the process priority, i tried streamlabs as well, although that does do hevc for some reson, fallbacks to h264
