Does "Intelligent assistance" exist? (Did it ever?)

I assume this is some Markov chain/LSTM/transformer thing? Did it ever exist, and are there plans to add it?

Hmm, @erusev did this. I think he wanted to hint at things like the emoji completions but in a more concise way (can't put a completions menu in that space).

However, we are actually already experimenting with the completions that you mentioned. Text-based completions at this point aren't as good as code completions (like GitHub Copilot) but they will get there.
