Step No.1:
The Model Instance resource describes data for a general hydrological model input and output files for a specific time and place. It includes the core extra metadata that is required for describing the input and output data for any hydrological model. A spreadsheet containing our proposed core metadata for a Model Instance resource was uploaded on Alfresco: https://my.alfresco.com/share/hydroshare.org/page/site/HydroShare/document-details?nodeRef=workspace://SpacesStore/6554120e-1101-4c8a-8fb9-8aefe94738e4. This Model Instance resource has the capability of uploading the input and out files for a specific instance.

We are planning to extend the general Model Instance resource to include a specific hydrological model instances. For example, SWAT model can be implemented by extending the core metdata used to describe the general Model Instance resource by a specific meatdata elements required for SWAT model only.
