Pictures persists for no reason

Even if you do not post anything the uploaded picture persists for a lot of time

I think the potential solution is to list the images aside and have the option to delete them. We can make sure the picture management tab has the picture addition or deletion option as well or have the option to copy the link of the picture without going to the github.

I am okay to contribute to this task if you assign me.

Thanks for bringing this up! I actually see this as a feature rather than a bug (lol) - sometimes users want to upload images to GitHub just for hosting purposes, then share them on other platforms without creating a post.

Though I do like your suggestion about the image management tab - it could be a nice enhancement for better control over uploaded images.
