When primers are designed, the locus names appear such as "ssr-1-20". I am not sure how these numbers are generated. In the notation “SSR‑1‑20,” what does the number 20 represent? Thanks for your kind support.

ssr-1-20 represents the ssr locus with id of 20 in file 1. 20 represents the ssr number. 1 represents file number.
