Description
After updating PawnIO to v2.1.0.0, FanCtrl stopped functioning correctly.
I have confirmed that updating the LibreHardwareMonitor (LHM) library to v0.9.6 resolves this issue and restores functionality.
⚠️ Note for Users
Updating to LHM v0.9.6 causes changes in sensor names and their ordering. Existing configurations will need to be reviewed and re-assigned manually after the update.
Environment
- **FanCtrl Version: v1.7.8
- OS: Windows 11 24H2
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard: MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI
Steps to Reproduce / Findings
- Run FanCtrl with PawnIO v2.1.0.0 -> Fails to detect sensors/control fans.
- Replace/Update LibreHardwareMonitor.dll to v0.9.6 -> Functionality is restored.
- Observe that sensor names/order have changed, requiring a settings reset.
Suggested Fix
Update the bundled LibreHardwareMonitor to v0.9.6 (or newer) to maintain compatibility with the latest PawnIO.
