White box on dragging

Wonder if you can help me with this?

I'm using Win 11, and when I drag an icon, it has a white box around it. This doesn't happen on the desktop, but happens everywhere else.

I've looked at your mods on Windhawk, but nothing seem to solve this.

Pretty sure this is the selection highlight that's embedded within aero.msstyles on Windows 11. As such, I don't think this is an issue with ExplorerEx itself.

You may need to install a utility such as UltraUXThemePatcher so you can use a custom visual style for the wider system, such as Vibranium11* by Sand216.

*I would note however that this theme is not XP-styled, but an example of one that should revert the selection highlight for file dragging.

Thanks, nothing seems to work. I'm wondering if it could be something to do with my monitor?
Although I've changed resolutions, and changed from a HDMI to display port but with no luck.

I would recommend using secureUxTheme patcher rather than UltraUxThemePatcher. It's safer and more reliable and usually prevents a failed load to black screen. As it is memory resident instead of a direct system file patch. Also be mindful of windows updates as this will break... well everything lol
