Appwrite Mega

A React app built with Vite and Appwrite.

Getting started

  1. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  2. Copy .env.sample to .env and set your Appwrite endpoint, project ID, database ID, collection ID, and bucket ID.

    In PowerShell:

    Copy-Item .env.sample .env
  3. Start the development server:

    npm run dev

Available scripts

  • npm run dev starts the Vite development server.
  • npm run build creates a production build.
  • npm run preview previews the production build.
  • npm run lint runs ESLint.

.env is ignored by Git. Do not put Appwrite API keys or other server-side secrets in VITE_ variables; Vite exposes those values to client-side code.
