I think this does look like an interesting skill for inclusion, but the main issue is that it's clearly lifted from the one that was written for Claude, in that it refers to how you would add the MCP server using the claude binary not via Copilot.
Given there is a companion MCP server, it might be worthwhile turning this into a plugin (see this part of the contributing guide) in which you provide a mcp.json file (we use the Agent Plugins spec approach) so then someone is able to install everything together easily.
Brings the branch up to date and keeps both new codespell entries: errorprone from main, and fro and nd for the globestudio region tables. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01WVQKDnS2EtMrRMaSJ2jR4t
…r Copilot As the review asked: plugins/globestudio bundles the globestudio skill with the hosted Globestudio MCP server, declared in mcp.json the way the Agent Plugins spec does, so `copilot plugin install globestudio@awesome-copilot` installs both together. The skill no longer tells Copilot users to run `claude mcp add` or `codex mcp add`. It says the plugin brings the server, and how to add it otherwise: `copilot mcp add --transport http` in Copilot CLI, or an HTTP server in .vscode/mcp.json in VS Code. Its config reference also picks up viewSwitch, a key the embed gained since. npm start regenerated docs/README.plugins.md and the marketplace entry; plugin:validate, skill:validate and codespell pass. Thanks for the review, @aaronpowell. Good catch on the I've turned it into a plugin: I also merged main to clear the conflict, and ran |

Thanks for turning this into a plugin with mcp.json; that addresses the main concern from the earlier review. Before this can merge, the branch conflicts with main again. Please rebase and re-run npm start so the READMEs and marketplace.json regenerate cleanly.

Thanks @aaronpowell. I merged the latest |

Adds globestudio, a plugin for dotted world maps and animated 3D globes made with Globestudio (https://globestudio.app), a free, MIT licensed studio with no account. The plugin bundles the globestudio skill with the hosted Globestudio MCP server (https://globestudio.app/mcp, declared in plugins/globestudio/mcp.json), so
copilot plugin install globestudio@awesome-copilotinstalls both.It teaches the agent how a design travels in a link (the ?c= config), how to embed one with @globestudio/react, the @globestudio/element web component or an iframe, which of the 21 looks keep a brand color, and the limits: 32,000 character embed URLs, 250 data points, WebGL 2. It also says when not to use it: tiled maps, routing, GIS and ordinary charts.
The three reference files are generated from the app's source in https://github.com/alevizio/globestudio, where a test fails when they fall behind. The skill folder is markdown only, with no scripts. The embeds it writes load from globestudio.app, which is free and needs no account.

I'm the author of Globestudio and the skill. The source lives in skills/globestudio of the repo above; I'll send updates here when it changes.
npm start, plugin:validate, skill:validateand codespell pass. I haven't run it in GitHub Copilot itself yet, only in Claude Code and Codex, so that box is unticked.By submitting this pull request, I confirm that my contribution abides by the Code of Conduct and will be licensed under the MIT License.
