What happened to RSAKeyPair?

In this commit the RSAKeyPair class was removed from the repo in order to be placed into rsa-verification, but that repo is still empty. Did this migration never finish? Did that class simply go poof?

I'm trying to use jsig to attach a publicKey record to an activitypub actor, and every example I find points at an RSAKeyPair class that seemingly vanished in 2019.

Perhaps the move was never completed? There is code in the initial branch: https://github.com/digitalbazaar/rsa-verification-key-2018/tree/initial. I assume it needs work to be modernized and usable.

@Twipped - yeah, as David mentioned above, it's currently living in the initial branch. I'm also sloooowly refactoring it over at the https://github.com/digitalcredentials/rsa-verification-key-2018 fork.
This library was working a million years ago, but now needs tests and updates.
Couple of thoughts:

• Try some of the other signing libraries, like https://github.com/uport-project/veramo, they might have RSA support?
• Would using Ed25519 keys for the ActivityPub actor be an option?

@dmitrizagidulin in an ideal world, yes, ED25519 would work, but I'm not certain all of the fediverse servers, or even mastodon, support it yet. I know peertube doesn't, there's currently an issue open on the matter.
