Coobbi ("we", "us", or "our") provides the INI File Opener mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
- Overview
INI File Opener is a utility for opening, viewing, editing, formatting, and saving INI, CONF, CFG, and other text-based configuration files.
The App does not require account registration.
- Files and Local Storage
Files selected by you are processed locally on your device. We do not upload the contents of your selected files to our own servers.
To provide App features, the App may store the following information locally on your device:
- Recent file information, including file names, file URIs or locations, and the time a file was opened.
- Backup copies of file content created before an edited file is saved.
- App settings and consent preferences.
Recent file records can be cleared from within the App. You may also delete local App data and backups through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
- Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner and app-open advertisements. The App also uses Google User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent where required.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This may include:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- Device and account identifiers, including Advertising ID and App Set ID where applicable;
- App and advertising interaction information, such as app launches, taps, and ad views;
- Diagnostic information, such as app performance and SDK-related diagnostics.

Where required by applicable law, the App presents a consent form before requesting ads. When available, you can update your advertising privacy choices through the "Privacy Choices" option in the App.
- How We Use Information
We use locally stored information only to provide App functionality, including displaying recent files and creating backups before saving edits.
We do not use selected file contents for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
- Data Sharing
We do not share your selected file contents with third parties.
Information processed by Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform may be shared with Google and its advertising partners as described in their applicable privacy policies and consent choices.
- Data Security
File content, recent file records, and backups are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and files.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to limit data handling to what is necessary for App functionality, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Children's Privacy
The App is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
