Backup remote host using rsync

In the "good old times" I used to backup some machines using only ssh+rsync. These tools are installed by default on any server (including legacy ones); so I just needed ssh access to a system to backup it (sql dumps included).

Could somenthing similiar be achieved using vykar?

@enboig Using ssh/ sftp access to root account of a server, there is hardly anything you can't do.
You could e.g. via a script, install/ transfer vykar-cli and configs to the server and use it to start a backup to another server, e.g. via the sftp backend. Of course, this approach would be limited to servers/ platforms that are supported by vykar.

But I am pretty sure you have something different in mind.
Would you elaborate?
