The latest version of the phpbb-flair extension is not fully compatible with phpBB 3.3.16. While most features work correctly, I have identified a critical bug in the MCP (Moderator Control Panel).
Specifically, when a flair is configured using an image via the ACP, the Profile Flair section in the MCP fails to display the necessary controls. The “+” (Add) and “X” (Remove) buttons completely disappear, making it impossible to assign or manage flairs for users in image mode.
Currently, the only workaround is to disable the image and set the flair using only color and name. Only then do the buttons appear in the MCP, allowing us to assign the flair. However, even with this method, the “X” button often fails to function, preventing moderators from removing a flair once it has been assigned.
After assigning it via the name/color method, we have to go back into the ACP to re-enable the image for that flair. This process is extremely tedious, time-consuming, and creates significant confusion and training hurdles for our admins and moderators.
I would appreciate it if you could:
Provide an estimated timeframe for a fix.
Consider releasing an update (e.g., version 1.2.5.1 or 1.2.6) to address these compatibility issues.
Suggest any temporary code patch or workaround in the meantime.
