(Only on Firefox-based browsers) All cards on screen auto-playing as if user was hovering them, at once

All cards' thumbnails starts playing the videos as if I was hovering them, instead of staying still and starting playing just as I hover them. This can be a very annoying issue when browsing Fireshare on a 4K screen and it tries reading dozens of 20mbps+ videos from a poor HDD.
Note that this bug only occurs on my firefox-based browsers, and not chrome/chromium.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open Fireshare
2. Browse videos on Firefox or Zen (issue arises)
3. Browse videos on Chrome or Vivaldi (works fine)

In the video, I used the following browsers in this order: Firefox (Private mode, no extension), Zen (Private mode, no extension), Chrome (private mode, no extension), and Vivaldi (private mode, 1 extension: dark reader). You'll see the bug happen on the first two browsers, which are Firefox and a Firefox fork, and not on the two other ones, which are Chrome and Chromium.

This is a fresh install, using version 1.7.6, "lite" variant (fireshare:latest-lite)

I'm trying to have other people test it out as well. When they connect to my Fireshare, same issue: bug happens on Firefox, not on Chrome. You said you yourself use Firefox and don't have this issue, I'm thinking this might be a "lite" variant specific bug?

What operating system are you on? Windows I am assuming from the video.

For me. Chrome & FireFox are not having this issue at all on MacOS and Windows 11. I had a friend also test this on their system with Firefox and they also are not seeing the issue you are. Here's a quick video of Firefox on my Mac. I noticed your mouse cursor looks modified or different. Do you have any UI mods installed on your operating system? Something seems to be triggering the on hover effect and/or somehow your browser might think you are on mobile.

Check that your browser isn't in a mobile view mode. I'm also on the latest updated firefox so give that a try as well if yours isnt up to date.

Yes, I am on Windows 11 Pro 25H2. My friend is on Windows 10, latest.

I don't have any UI mod installed on my OS - the custom cursor is a native Windows feature, doesn't require any third-party software. My friend also has a non-modded Windows.

When it comes to browser versions - all are latest and up to date. My friend's Firefox had to be latest as well, he installed it just for the test. For the sake of things, I tried on the Firefox mobile app and it works fine, so this is definitely a desktop issue.

Browser isn't in mobile view mode, and yes, the issue also happens on your demo site (video attached):

Third friend tried it. He has the same issue on both my Fireshare and your demo website, but even with Vivaldi, and Edge (both Chromium). W11, up-to-date browsers.

We noticed not ALL the videos auto-start, and if we do hover them and remove the mouse, the auto-play preview stops. And doesn't restart on next hovers.

@Hyrull This might take a while to figure out. I can't seem to recreate this issue on any browser or system I try. I have a friend also attempting on various machines with firefox and also unable to get the same issue you are seeing.

I won't rule out that there isn't a bug somewhere and I might have to try having AI take a deeper look in-case it's some crazy edge case that somehow you and your friends all share.

I would implore you to keep investigating on your end as best you can. I'll post an update here if I manage to figure out the issue but I'm currently at a complete loss.

Cloned the repo and found the bug, and sent a PR to fix it. This is a one line commit, see #691
