When you import complex shell geometry to geom module the only way at the moment to pick edge in smesh for changing mesh density etc. is only by exploding edges of that imported shell. Then you're getting few hundreds of edges. You are still unable to pick the exploded edges from the viewport, so you have to look for them in the Object Browser tree. It's time consuming when you have 10 edges, if you have 100+ this approach is useless... Please add the functionality to pick the geometric entities in the smesh viewport.
