One <profile-id>.json file owns each curated profile's official starting points, conditional follow-up generators, generated files to preserve, baseline checks and primary sources. The profile IDs are owned by profiles.json; the build requires generator coverage for every profile. Plain Elixir and supervised OTP creation choices live with the Phoenix profile rather than adding an unresearched profile.
content/generation-policy.json owns the shared requirement to use the appropriate initializer/template, preserve generated defaults, avoid overwriting existing work and report actual generation evidence. scripts/generator_content.py compiles that policy and these records into HTML and Markdown; the main compiler also includes them in structured profiles, /catalogue.json, /generators.json and /llms-full.txt. Edit sources here, never generated output.
Each starting point supplies name, when, ordered steps (including IDE instructions where relevant), commands with run, cwd and purpose, and notes. Follow-up entries use the same fields except optional steps. Empty command lists represent a documented GUI/template route rather than a guessed shell command. integration_steps owns current post-generation configuration and application work; it replaces historical imported setup instructions in served profiles so creation advice stays consistent. Sources and review/evidence fields apply to each record. Follow the linked maintenance procedure for refresh, checks and recovery.
The original collection was documentation-reviewed on 18 October 2026. Each record owns its current reviewed_on and evidence_status; later source reviews and disposable starter trials do not recertify the whole catalogue. Execution evidence names the actual command, toolchain, checks and limits. These records guide initialization; they do not certify all generated defaults, complete application combinations or every best practice. Installed-version help and the user's maintained project instructions govern actual execution. No generator is assumed to ignore .DS_Store; check project-specific local artifacts explicitly.
