Midpoint Check-in - Flip the Classic

Hey everyone, anti-developers!

We're a bit past the halfway point of the jam. Current status: 17 people signed up, and the first game has already been submitted - good start, and there's still time to get your own flip finished.

Deadline stays the same: August 31st, 2026, 23:59. Voting starts right after on September 1st, 2026 and runs for 10 days.

A quick reminder on the concept itself: just changing colors or the name isn't enough. You need to find that one thing that makes the classic the classic - the goal, the mechanic, or the role - and flip exactly that upside down. If you're still figuring out your idea: a simple, clear flip always beats a complicated half-finished one. You don't need to build a AAA game in a couple of weeks.

Also remember:

• Source code public + build instructions included
• Recommended license: MIT
• The game needs to run on Windows 11 (if it needs an emulator, include instructions)
• Also make sure to create a guide, manual, or even just a simple text file that players can lean on while learning your game.
