unable to read disc error

probably many other people have this problem but i've tried so many things and i really don't know what to do, my ps2 is a slim scph-75004 and the dvd player is 3.11E and i once replaced the laser. as far as i can remember i tried using a dvd movie first to recalibrate the laser first, tried the same thing with a game then i tried 3 different programs for burning the dvd and also tried restarting the ps2 multiple times beause maybe it was just hard to read, my last hope is to try to use dvd+r and if even that doesn't work idk what to do

same issue here.

i burnt 21 games and only 5 games works.
the joke i burnt them to the priciest verbatim dvd-s so it's rather fustrating.
all the 10 games i burnt into maxell dvd's are working, only just some games have terrible loading times, example in mortal kombat shaolin monks last stage was laggy as hell.
god of war last stage nearly loads for 10minutes.
i gonna retry with fmcb and esr patching the backups and burn some.
if it turns out the issue because of the freedvdboot then i never gonna use it again.
i was never had issues with fmcb and esr patched games before.

maybe i gonna give it a try launching the games through ulaunchelf under fmcb bypassing the fdvdb init.
