"TV system doesn't match" error

Recently, I was able to create a patched copy of the simpsons hit and run for my ps2 phat, but whenever I boot the game, I am met with a black screen that says "TV system doesn't match". I honestly don't know what is going on and I would like some help.
Console Information:
Model: SCPH-30001 R
Browser: v1.20
CD Player: v1.20
PS Driver: v1.10
DVD Firmware: v2.10U

@CooLtool4610, try RESET on your PS2, this should help even less or use diagnostic mode from BIOS, inserting the disc.

UPDATE: After burning another disc with an older build of the patch, I no longer have the "tv system doesnt match" error, but now, I get an error similar to the last one that says "game halted due to malfunction", I have tried resetting, enabling diagnostic mode, and even removing the memory cards, but nothing works.

Try insert other game disc, or DVD movie.
